As Lālo Parade, I create music that blends rock and pop influences—a singer-songwriter project that has allowed me to experience firsthand the creative workflows and pain points that musicians face when using production tools.

As the founding designer at OnOctave, a music monetization platform built specifically for musicians, I designed the entire user experience from zero to one, creating intuitive microtransaction systems and wallet features that solved real pain points for artists trying to monetize their work—this deep understanding of musicians' needs, combined with my hands-on experience as a recording and music engineer, gives me authentic insight into creators' workflows, mental models, and the subtle nuances that make the difference between a feature that impresses and one that truly empowers artists.

At Warner Music Group, I led the design of a unified asset management platform that streamlined workflows for global marketing teams, saving users hours each day through deep user research and cross-functional collaboration. Through extensive interviews and workflow mapping, I uncovered how marketing managers were spending more time hunting for files than creating campaigns—insights that directly shaped a platform that eliminated friction and empowered creative professionals. I'm excited to bring this same research-driven approach to Apple's Music Creation Apps, designing experiences that respect musicians' creative flow while unlocking new possibilities for music creation.
